Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive electrical maintenance, including assembly, installation, and repair of conduit, junction boxes, and fixtures for lighting and power systems. Perform electrical construction work involving layout, demolition, and building of electrical systems while adhering to codes and specifications. Collaborate with supervisors, customers, and other trades to coordinate workflows and ensure timely, cost-effective service. Measure, cut, and install conduit, wire, and fittings using hand and power tools, documenting all procedures accurately. Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring proper equipment care and keeping areas orderly. Work night shifts from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience
- LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI
- State of Michigan LIC-Electrical Grand Rapids - STATE_MI
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
