Job Summary
Direct electrical construction work for assigned commercial, industrial, and data center projects in the Southwest. Interpret drawings, sketches, and plans to determine best work procedures, then measure, cut, bend, thread, and assemble conduit while installing control apparatus and cable duct banks. Operate various hand and power tools to install wiring, terminate connections, and pull wire through conduit. Test and start up systems to ensure electrical compatibility and safety, while disassembling and repairing defective equipment. Enforce NEC local codes and collaborate with Field Leadership to maintain project flow and resolve escalated field issues.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of working knowledge of electrical construction experience
- Proficient knowledge and compliance with all NEC and OSHA safety standards
- Possess strong expertise in all aspects of trade-related materials, components, equipment, systems, methods of installation, safety procedures, safe work practices, trade-related calculations, blueprint and drawing interpretation, and troubleshooting
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, unassisted, frequently throughout the day
- Ability to work from various heights via ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and other safe work platforms and area
- Able to work a 40-hour work week, with overtime and off-hour shifts as required
- Able to work in extreme weather conditions and elements, indoor or outdoor, including heat, cold, rain, mud, dust, and snow depending on the job location
- Must be able to potentially lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to do repeated pushing, pulling, carrying, reaching (or working above shoulder), walking, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and climbing
- Must be able to potentially operate a motor vehicle, crane, tractor, etc.
Desired Qualifications
