Job Summary
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot feeder and branch circuits, control wiring, panels, and related electrical components in oil and gas environments. Interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical documents while ensuring all work meets NFPA 70E, NEC, and local codes. Perform maintenance and repair of existing systems, identify upgrade areas, and adhere to safety standards including lockout/tagout and hazardous area protocols. Complete daily work reports, timesheets, and documentation as required. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to execute projects efficiently. Travel to job sites using company or personal vehicles. Valid Journeyman Electrician License, minimum 3 years industrial electrical experience, and a clean driving record with no more than 3 citations in the last 3 years are required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than 3 citations in the last 3 years)
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial electrical work, preferably in oil and gas facilities
- Demonstrated experience with feeder and branch power circuits
- Demonstrated experience with control systems and automation
- Demonstrated experience with conduit bending, cable tray systems, and grounding
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug screening, and MVR (motor vehicle record) check
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment (climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs, working outdoors)
- Strong understanding of electrical safety practices
- Travel to job sites in company or personal vehicle as needed
