Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures; assemble and install raceways, conduit, and cable tray systems; troubleshoot motors, control systems, and other electrical components; read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; perform routine maintenance and ensure compliance with codes; adhere to safety standards and collaborate with project managers and apprentices to complete work efficiently and accurately. Lives in the Dallas–Fort Worth area with a focus on commercial and industrial projects; eligible for a Texas journeyman license; position offers competitive pay, benefits, potential company vehicle after probation, and fuel compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid journeyman license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR)
- Proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical installations
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics
- Proficiency with electrical tools, materials, and test equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented work ethic
