Job Summary
Journeyman-level electrical role at a data-center-focused firm. Responsibilities include performing lighting and battery preventive maintenance, rack moves and decommissioning, security gate repair, inverter testing for battery backups, scheduling and material requisition, MTS board validations, installing and retrofitting receptacle panels, electrical panel scheduling, heat-trace installations/retrofits, and providing electrical project support. Requires 5+ years in the trade, NFPA-70e familiarity, formal vocational training, strong written/spoken communication, and the ability to read electrical/mechanical manuals and drawings; must be able to work with hand and power tools and operate in a high-demand, team-based data-center environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least five (5) years of experience in the trade
- NFPA-70e
- Formal training in approved vocational schools in the fundamentals of the trade
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical manuals, drawings, and sketches
- Ability to work with hand tools and power tools
- Physical ability to perform job tasks as described
