Journeyman Data Manager

Job Summary

Collect, organize, validate, and maintain mission-critical data from Government and enterprise sources to support assessment processes and analytical exploitation. Perform quality assurance activities, develop data repositories, and coordinate with stakeholders to verify and update information for operational analysis. Prepare reports, briefings, and dashboards for leadership while ensuring proper handling of classified and sensitive information in a secure environment. Assist with continuous improvement of data workflows and resolve discrepancies to enhance data reliability. This full-time onsite role supports a Department of the Air Force program within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility and any customer-required accesses
  • Work within a Government-owned or controlled Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF)
  • Must be a United States citizen
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in any field
  • Three (3) to ten (10) years of professional experience
  • Ability to perform assigned duties independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience collecting, organizing, validating, and maintaining structured data
  • Experience supporting data collection efforts and maintaining accurate records
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience preparing reports, documentation, and analytical deliverables
  • Ability to identify data discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining data accuracy and integrity
  • Experience handling sensitive or classified information in accordance with established security procedures

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or Department of the Air Force programs
  • Experience with enterprise data management platforms or data repositories
  • Experience using business intelligence, reporting, or data visualization tools
  • Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Python, or similar analytical tools
  • Experience supporting data governance, metadata management, or data quality initiatives
  • Experience working within secure or classified environments
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar enterprise data platforms
