Job Summary
Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration role for commercial customers: install, maintain, and repair complex HVAC and refrigeration systems; diagnose issues; perform preventive maintenance; read blueprints and specifications; maintain service reports and inventory; stay updated on industry trends; collaborate with team; lead and mentor others. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 3 years of HVAC/refrigeration experience, valid state license, EPA refrigerants certification, strong communication and customer-service skills, and valid driver’s license. Senior Journeyman version requires 5 years of experience and a State Journeyman HVAC license; additional leadership responsibilities and higher expertise in electrical/mechanical components. Preferred: technical school or apprenticeship. Location: Ellicott City, MD, US.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair
- All required State licensing
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in team environments
- Proven ability to lead and mentor others
- Must possess a valid state driver's license and have reliable personal transportation
