Job Summary
Journeyman Carpenter needed to execute framing layouts for multi-family residential structures, construct fire-rated assemblies in compliance with safety regulations, and read and interpret blueprints to plan and complete projects. The role requires enforcing safety across work areas, supervising and mentoring carpenter apprentices, maintaining high-quality workmanship, reporting daily site progress to project management, ensuring compliance with building codes and site plans, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and collaborating with other trades to keep projects on schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyperson Certificate is mandatory and proof of certification will be required if selected.
- Experience reading blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings, with a strong understanding of building codes and site safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
- A valid class 5 license and vehicle.
