Job Summary
Complete accurate site takeoffs, read building codes, and interpret engineered drawings to install components for custom homes. Execute forming, rebar, concrete finishing, roofing, insulation, and interior/exterior finishing work, with specific focus on ICF foundation tasks. Lead and instruct apprentices by organizing work, creating clear plans, and forecasting deliveries to keep projects moving safely and efficiently. Take full accountability for site safety, identify and resolve on-site issues, and motivate junior carpenters to maintain quality standards. This senior role requires six years of residential construction experience, including custom home work and in-depth ICF knowledge, with the opportunity to advance into a Site Foreman position.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum six years of residential construction experience
- Experience working on custom homes
- In-depth knowledge of ICF foundations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of work on site
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced framing experience is an asset
- Experience with energy-efficient construction is an asset
- Ability and interest in advancing into a Site Foreman role
