Job Summary
Perform basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on customer and dealer-owned agriculture and turf equipment, including John Deere products. Provide field service support to customers as required and participate in Service Training programs to develop skills. Maintain current knowledge of competitive products, keep vehicles and tools in condition, and ensure a clean, orderly work area. Complete all required reports, forms, and time cards while strictly following safety rules and regulations. Lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly and operate diagnostic vehicles and equipment. A valid driver's license is required, with a forklift license preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agriculture and turf equipment
- Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
