Journeyman AG Service Technician

Job Summary
Perform basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on customer and dealer-owned agriculture and turf equipment. Provide field service support to customers as required while participating in Service Training programs to develop skills. Maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitive products, and ensure the condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment. Complete all reports, forms, and time cards accurately while following safety rules and regulations. Maintain a clean work area and perform duties in a neat, orderly fashion. A valid driver's license and high school diploma are required, with forklift license preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agriculture and turf equipment
- Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
