Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC equipment, including air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems. Install, maintain, modify, overhaul, and service HVAC systems while performing routine preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems. Commission newly installed or modified systems to verify proper operation and respond to customer service calls and inspections. Complete required documentation, maintain accurate service records, and follow company safety procedures. Requires current Journeyman License, EPA Universal Certification, and ability to work overtime and participate in an on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current HVAC Journeyman License
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, controls, and service practices
Desired Qualifications
- Three or more years of HVAC experience
- EPA Universal Certification
- Ability to work overtime as needed and participate in an on-call rotation
