Job Summary
Open and close daily site activities, welcome clients, and inform them of current metal pricing. Process payments, answer phone calls, and prepare shipping documents while balancing the cash register at day's end. Participate in unloading, sorting, and weighing metals, and operate equipment including forklifts. Enter data into the RECY software and maintain site cleanliness. Perform metal sorting on tables or the ground and work outdoors in varying temperatures. Requires Class 5 driver's license and minimum one year of similar experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Availability to work outdoors, exposed to hot or cold temperatures
- Ability to sort metals on a table or on the ground
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of metal recycling (atout)
- Experience with a forklift (atout)
