Job Summary
Dismantle and decontaminate vehicles safely using manual and electric tools. Prepare vehicles for resale or display in the yard. Remove wheels, rims, and tires. Clean, test, and sort batteries for resale. Sort and organize recovered parts for inventory. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. This role supports daily operations at Kenny U-Pull's recycling centers in Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Candidates must have prior experience with similar manual labor tasks and the physical endurance to lift up to 50 lbs. Shifts include weekends and select weekdays, with competitive pay starting at $20/hour plus a bi-annual bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a journeyperson position
- Ability to use manual and electric tools
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical endurance and the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Availability for Saturday and Sunday shifts from 9:00 to 17:00
- Availability for Monday through Thursday shifts
