Job Summary
Joint SOF Trainer (Communications) III at Athenix Special Missions in Hurlburt Field, FL. Serve as program lead for the Joint Training Tool (JTT), coordinate integration with DoD enterprise systems and C4I networks within an Agile Combat Employment environment. Manage end-to-end force sourcing via JTT; oversee user access, permissions, training, and adoption across commands and partners. Maintain currency of SOF and Joint Enterprise training requirements through research of DoD directives and doctrine. Support exercise design, JELC planning, scenario scripting, and staff role playing; apply the ADDIE model to develop training materials for in-person and online delivery. Create/review event concepts, support multinational theater exercises, ensure compliance with Foreign Disclosure and DOS export guidelines. Use JTT data to generate reports, dashboards, and after-action reviews for senior leaders. Lead and coordinate cross-domain teams to execute training objectives and ensure mission readiness.

Desired Qualifications
- 8 years of communications experience
- prefer prior E7+ CW2+ O3+
- more than 7 years’ experience in exercise design, scenario development, and management of Joint Life Cycle (JELC) events
- minimum of 4 years of experience coordinating with the training audience and developing a realistic scenario
- minimum of 3 years of experience in communications connectivity with KU/X/KA Band Satellite systems, UHF/VHF radio, data systems, mobile ad-hoc networking, mesh networking systems, tactical SATCOM, LMR systems, COP applications
- working knowledge of DISA DISN network services, architecture, certificate processes, and procedures, Cisco, LAN/WAN, fiber, POTs and NSA approved encryption devices (Taclan, KIV, KG, Cylink) equipment suite programming, deployment, and integration
- working knowledge of SDN versions
- minimum of 3 years of experience in HBSS and ACAS
- preferred 2 years’ experience as a platform instructor in a Professional Military Education/training environment
