Job Summary
Provide critical Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to a Department of Defense program office as a Subject Matter Expert for weapon system and radio integration into the kill chain. Deliver technical guidance on tactical networking, network-enabled munitions, and Concepts of Operations to facilitate development, prototyping, and demonstration of mission-critical capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and joint service partners to analyze system requirements, validate complex DoD systems, and ensure interoperability between allied and coalition networks. Lead planning and execution of test events and live-fire exercises to validate system performance and operation utility. Communicate complex technical findings and data-driven recommendations to senior military leaders and program managers. Requires an Active TS/SCI security clearance, Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and 10+ years of DoD command and control experience. 25% to 50% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance at time of application
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering or technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in DoD command and control, weapon systems integration, or a related field
- Significant experience with joint service munitions development, including an understanding of the processes for coordinating requirements, funding, and testing across the services
- Demonstrated experience in developing, authoring, or evaluating CONOPS and TTPs for complex, network-enabled weapon systems
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, the DoD acquisition process, and kill chain analysis
- Proven ability to work full-time in a SCIF/SAPF environment
- Ability to travel 25% to 50%

Desired Qualifications
- Experience working within or directly supporting a Joint Program Office (JPO) or similar cross-service organization
