Job Summary
Joiner to perform internal and external joinery, maintenance and remedial works across occupied and void properties, including basic plastering, tiling and plumbing as needed. Plan and organise work to meet response times, liaise with customers and colleagues, diagnose faults, and complete accurate documentation. Supervise apprentices, use IT to receive instructions and order materials, drive a company vehicle, manage materials to minimise waste, and comply with health and safety requirements. Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours rota with additional pay. Interviews at HMS Stonebridge Office in June 2026.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Joinery or relevant craft discipline
- CSCS card at the appropriate level
- Experience in multi-skilled trade activities
- Full UK or EU driving licence
- Completed apprenticeship (time served)
- Proven experience in joinery, building maintenance and construction
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Experience supervising or supporting apprentices
