Job Summary
Provide accurate assessments of breast conditions and interpret mammograms, ultrasound scans, and other breast imaging modalities to detect and diagnose abnormalities. Collaborate with breast surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for breast cancer or related conditions. Conduct image-guided breast procedures, such as biopsies and aspirations, to obtain tissue samples for evaluation and diagnosis. Requires medical degree from an accredited school, board certification or eligibility in radiology, and an active New York medical license.
