Job Summary
ENT/Otology physician role with residency program leadership potential at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. Responsibilities include building an Otology-focused practice within a general ENT service, teaching and mentoring residents in a five-resident ACGME-accredited Otolaryngology residency program, participating in patient care across inpatient/outpatient settings, and contributing to the Epic EMR workflow. Joint practice with two board-certified otolaryngologists and one board-eligible otolaryngologist; teaching responsibilities emphasized; participation in call schedule (nights and weekends) with residents taking primary on-call duties. Enhanced compensation package includes a $25,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, CME days, PSLF eligibility, malpractice coverage, and comprehensive benefits. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited ENT Residency Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Otolaryngology with an interest in Otology
- Completion of a fellowship in Otology is not required
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
