Job Summary
Join the Infectious Disease Department at Berkshire Health Systems for a hospital-based role with both inpatient and outpatient ID consultations. Participate in Infection Control and Antibiotic Stewardship programs, with opportunities to provide consultation in a wound clinic and care for HIV/AIDS patients. Includes education and mentorship in internal medicine and surgical residency programs, a generous benefits package, sign-on bonus, and CME support. This role blends patient care across acute and ambulatory settings within a teaching environment in the Berkshire region of western Massachusetts.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (MD) or equivalent
- Board-certified/eligible in Infectious Disease
- Active medical license in MA or ability to obtain
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient infectious disease care (preferred)
- Participation in infection control and antibiotic stewardship programs
- Ability to provide HIV/AIDS care (preferred)
- Academic/education/mentorship experience (preferred)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
