Job Summary
Primary Care Physician position at Kernersville VA Health Care Center. Responsibilities include direct patient care for adult and geriatric patients within PACT, prescribing and managing medications for chronic conditions and pain, participating in team care coordination, leading quality improvement initiatives, contributing to research and quality projects, and completing required continuing education. Requires Board Certified or Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine, a full unrestricted U.S. medical license, and completion of an accredited residency. Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; salary $200,000–$270,000 with benefits and EDRP eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine
- Hold a full, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. State
- Completion of an accredited residency in a core specialty
- U.S. Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be considered when qualified citizens cannot be recruited, in accordance with VA policy
