Job Summary
Account Manager for employee benefits brokerage, collaborating with Account Executives and Producers to deliver ERISA-compliant benefits administration, client education, and asset development for large group clients. Responsibilities include servicing assigned clients, cultivating relationships, ensuring timely benefit-related tasks, maintaining records, creating employee benefit guides and client-facing materials, learning benefit administration platforms, and staying informed on industry regulations. Requires licensing in Accident Life & Health, ERISA/compliance knowledge, strong communication/presentation skills, proficiency with MS Office and benefits software, reliability, and ability to travel for meetings.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of group employee benefits brokerage experience
- Active resident Accident Life & Health License required
- Deep understanding of ERISA and other compliance regulations as they pertain to group benefit plans
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in-person and virtual
- Experience with MS Office and data management software; benefits administration software highly desired
- Strong attention to detail, pride of work ownership, ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to travel for client and prospect meetings as needed
- Located in either Pacific or Mountain Time Zone
