Job Summary
Provide training and supervision to individuals in the JDT setting by teaching life, job, or communication skills and working on meaningful projects. Support individuals to follow their Person Centered Plan while ensuring their health and safety is maintained at all times. Complete documentation for individuals as required, accurately log hours in the Paychex Flex system, and maintain a clean and healthy environment. Engage in positive communication with families, guardians, staff, and management, and assist individuals in problem-solving. Attend scheduled hours and required training to ensure consistent, quality support.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Pre-Employment Drug Testing
- Criminal Background Checks with no convictions
- CPR/First Aid and Safety Care
- Valid, Unrestricted Nevada Driver's License
- Good Communication Skills
- Ability to Self Initiate Responsibilities
- Good Organizational and Time Management Skills
- Ability to Maintain Confidentiality
- Ability to Recognize and Report Hazards and Apply Safe Work Methods
