Job Title: Specialist HSE (Projects) Engineer – Offshore Water Injection Project

Job Summary
Provide HSE leadership and technical oversight to project management, engineering, construction, and contractor teams throughout the lifecycle of the Offshore Water Injection Project. Implement the Project HSE Management Plan, ensure compliance with local, international, and client requirements, and facilitate HAZID, HAZOP, SIMOPS, and risk assessment studies. Monitor high-risk offshore installation activities including lifting, confined space entry, and diving, while conducting worksite inspections, contractor audits, and incident investigations. Lead safety culture development through training, behavioral-based safety initiatives, and emergency response planning. The role involves a 6 weeks on/3 weeks off rotation based in Abu Dhabi, moving to the offshore site.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline
- Professional HSE certification
- Minimum 10–15 years of HSE experience within the oil & gas or energy sector
- Minimum 5–7 years supporting major offshore EPC projects
- Proven experience in Offshore Water Injection Projects
- Proven experience in Offshore Platforms
- Proven experience in Brownfield and Greenfield Developments
- Proven experience in Offshore Construction and Installation
- Proven experience in Commissioning and Start-Up Activities
- Experience working with international EPC contractors and offshore operators
- Previous Middle East offshore project experience

- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
- ISO 14001 Lead Auditor
- Incident Investigation Certification
- Offshore Survival & Safety Certifications (BOSIET / FOET)
- Proven experience in Offshore Water Injection Projects (Preferred)
