Job Title: Quality Inspector – Aerospace

Job Summary
Quality Inspector responsible for in-process, first article, and final inspections of aerospace parts and assemblies. Interpret and inspect to engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T, and work instructions. Use precision metrology tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and CMMs. Document inspection results and maintain records per AS9100. Initiate NCRs and support root-cause and corrective-action activities. Verify supplier materials against receiving requirements; ensure product traceability and proper use of traveler packets. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to identify and resolve issues; support continuous improvement and uphold a culture of quality and compliance. Knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 and aerospace quality processes; experience with FAI/AS9102 documentation; familiarity with CMM programming/operation (PC-DMIS, Zeiss or similar).
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency with hands-on metrology tools and measuring equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T (ANSI Y14.5)
- Working knowledge of inspection documentation and non-conformance reporting
- Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong documentation skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP/MRP systems, or Quality software)
