Job Summary
Conduct pre-vocational and employment training for individuals with disabilities at community worksites. Perform and document task/job analyses, preparing lists of client routines and monitoring safety and progress through frequent communication with supervisors. Advocate for clients by fostering co-worker relationships and report concerns to the Manager via phone, email, or meetings. Review scheduling changes and respond to communications from management. Complete daily progress note documentation for JFCS, DDD, and contracted school districts. Communicate effectively with employers, employees, and professional staff. Attend staff meetings and in-services when permitted.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, or related field
- two years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Must be 18 years or older
- Moderate Level PC skills
- Microsoft Office –Word and Outlook
- Ability to perform work that is routine
