Job Summary

Verify patient identity and clinical history, assist with pre-procedure interviews, and ensure informed consent is obtained. Prepare patients for procedures to minimize anxiety while maintaining sterile techniques and aseptic practices. Position patients for examinations, obtain scout films, and provide patient education in collaboration with staff. Assist radiologists throughout complex interventional procedures with necessary supplies and monitor patient status continuously. Initiate life support measures and assist in cardiopulmonary resuscitation during medical emergencies. Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure for patients and staff. Maintain working knowledge of patient monitoring devices and adhere to unit policies to safeguard assets.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Learning Agility: Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols, and adapt to changing priorities and work demands
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications
  • Communication: Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Valid driver's license
