Job Summary
Support the Sensory Science Team at Givaudan as a Sensory Science Intern. Under supervision, assist in day-to-day operations of sensory laboratories, support both trained fragrance and oral care panels and untrained assessors, perform routine sensory evaluations, handle sample preparation, test setup, panel sessions, and cleanup, recruit and brief untrained assessors, follow defined test methods and protocols, maintain laboratory spaces, and organize testing sessions for technology compliance. Strong teamwork, planning, communication, IT literacy (Excel), and attention to detail are valued; this is a temporary one-year contract suitable for a school leaver or those early in their career.
Required Qualifications
- Assisting the Sensory Science Team in day-to-day operations of sensory laboratories
- supporting trained fragrance and oral care panels as well as untrained assessors
- carry out routine sensory evaluations and related laboratory activities
- sample preparation, test set-up, running panel sessions, and clearing up
- recruit, brief and manage untrained assessors for sensory studies
- follow defined test methods and protocols
- maintain and organize laboratory spaces before and after testing sessions
- organize and conduct testing sessions for technology compliance
