Job Summary
Senior Quality Lab Analyst, Taste & Wellbeing in Singapore: manage quality compliance for finished goods and raw materials; perform sensory evaluation, chemical and physical testing to ensure products meet requirements; approve/reject decisions on finished products and raw materials; review test methods, specifications and procedures; support microbiological testing; lead quality investigations and non-conformances; oversee Cleaning and Environmental Monitoring Program; maintain/ calibrate QC equipment; improve QC processes and support audits (HACCP, FSSC 22000, EHS). Responsibilities span implementing quality systems and supporting internal, external, and customer audits, with experience in laboratory techniques, sensory evaluation, microbiology, analytics, and regulatory knowledge. Requirements include a Diploma in Chemistry/Biology/Analytical Chemistry/Microbiology, and 2+ years QC experience or a Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
Required Qualifications
- Laboratory or QC techniques required
- Basic sensory evaluation capability / food manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Operational experience with laboratory systems, analytical equipment and instruments and microbiological testing experience preferred
- Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous materials and related local regulations
- Diploma in Chemistry, Biology, Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology
- Minimum 2 years experience in QC or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology with/without experience in QC
