Job Summary
Manage field technicians in the day-to-day operations of installing hydraulic, gearless and geared elevator modernizations; lead field surveys for modernization projects and assist in preparing proposals and bids; determine scope of work and manpower to complete projects timely and profitably; order parts and ensure correct components for projects. Build and lead a team of field technicians, oversee training and development, foster effective communication with the local union, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards and contract requirements, monitor progress and efficiency, support the sales team in estimating bids, resolve customer concerns, promote teamwork and quality, and participate in professional development programs to enhance knowledge of elevator products and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of technical experience in the elevator industry or related field
- Experience in installation and service of elevators/escalators
- Must have ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent computer proficiency (preferred)
