Job Summary
Associate Project Manager (Existing Installation) partners with the Project Manager or Superintendents to manage customer relationships for elevator/escalator services, overseeing code compliance requirements mandated by AHJs incl. DOB inspections, testing and remediation for the assigned jurisdiction. Responsibilities include scheduling inspections, coordinating corrective actions, maintaining compliance documentation, tracking KPIs (inspections confirmations, non-conformance resolutions, regulatory deadlines), ensuring safety and quality, coordinating manpower and third-party testing/inspections, and preparing regulatory reports for AHJs. Requires coordination with sales, consultants, and customers to schedule tests, repairs, or upgrades; maintaining trackers and regular communication with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years' relevant professional work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with SAP, DOBNOW/BIS, Lotus Notes or similar applications
- Prior experience in operations functions
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Scheduling experience to handle multiple vendors and customers
