Job Summary
Engineer - Product Safety responsible for acceptance inspections and tests to verify conformity with Schindler's codes and safety devices; perform routine inspections of existing installations to ensure safe operating condition and conformity to code; report inspection and testing results; follow up on non-conformances; coordinate with Project Engineers & Field Technicians for corrective actions and field instructions; requires expertise in E&E with 5+ years in installation or 7+ years in maintenance; knowledge of elevator and escalator products, safety systems, and related processes; diploma in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics).
