Job Summary
Lead as the primary Environmental, Health & Safety resource for Taste & Wellbeing and Fragrance & Beauty manufacturing and commercial sites in the West NOAM Region. Partner with site leadership to implement regional EH&S strategies, support regulatory compliance, and advance a proactive safety culture. Manage the deployment of EH&S management systems, maintain accurate documentation, and drive continuous improvement across multiple locations. Support site audits, certifications, and the investigation of workplace injuries through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Foster collaboration by promoting best practices and knowledge sharing among regional teams. This role reports to the Regional EHS Director, West NOAM, with a salary range of $140,000-$170,000k and a hybrid schedule based in Cincinnati, Ohio or Chicago, Illinois.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field
- 10+ years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience, including at least 5 years supporting manufacturing operations
- Applicable country-specific EH&S certifications or professional qualifications
- Experience with hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control methodologies
- Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, Process Safety Management, auditing practices, and EH&S management systems
- Experience with emergency management programs and occupational health and safety practices
- Experience using EH&S digital systems and reporting tools
- Professional proficiency in English
