Job Summary
Process Technician for Pioneer Encapsulation Plant (1 year contract) at Givaudan, Singapore. Responsible for operating chemical production equipment to manufacture fragrance products, performing commissioning/qualification activities, executing the chemical process, selecting materials, conducting in-process quality testing, documenting deviations per SOPs, maintaining records, assembling materials per BOM, and performing equipment maintenance. Will troubleshoot complex problems, read control instruments, prepare production records, and provide on-the-job training for new operators. Must work in a GMP/OSHA environment, maintain sanitation, and adhere to safety guidelines. Requires 1–2 years of related experience, basic chemistry knowledge, forklift experience (helpful), English communication skills, and ability to work 3-shift or 12-hour shifts. This is a 1-year contract based in Singapore with a focus on producing fragrance products and ensuring quality throughout the production process.
Required Qualifications
- GCE “N” or “O” Level or equivalent, NITEC / Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or manufacturing related
- Secondary Level or equivalent with considerable experiences in Pharmaceutical, Chemical or manufacturing related is acceptable
- 1-2 year of experience in Pharmaceutical, Chemical or manufacturing related
- Basic Chemistry knowledge
- Experience operating forklift and/or in-house fork truck certification is an added advantage but not a must
- Basic knowledge of cGMP manufacturing processes and cGDP
- Basic command in English in both Written and Verbal communication skills
- Experience in operating RF devices
- Incidental lift objects of 25 kg
- Willing to work in a 3-shift or 12 hours shift system
