Job Summary
Process Tech and Manex Manager at Givaudan in Cincinnati, OH, leads and develops the team responsible for introducing and improving products, processing equipment, production processes, and production systems. Partners with PT/Manex, FCA, CI, S+T, E&M, Quality, IT, and Supply Chain to enhance site capability, oversee New Product Industrialization, product transfers, and process improvements, manage startup of new equipment, and drive technical problem solving. Must be able to lead a technical team, communicate effectively, and drive performance improvements aligned with site KPIs. Requires a B.S. in chemical engineering or related field with 5+ years in process/project work and leadership experience; Lean fundamentals; familiarity with Safety, QC, and GMPs; and experience across manufacturing and technical environments.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. (or higher) in chemical engineering or related technical field with 5+ years experience in process and project work, 3 of which should include experience in a leadership role.
- Process engineering background/Chemical engineering
- Experience working with diverse workforces including technical teams, manufacturing groups and leadership.
- Manufacturing/Engineering technical background, including product industrialization, process engineering, complex machinery and material flow, installations and evaluation of equipment into a growth environment.
- Familiar with Lean fundamentals.
- Knowledge of Safety and QC functions and requirements.
- Understanding of accounting, financial, and MRP systems.
- Understanding of local, state and federal regulations and GMPs affecting the food industry.
- Knowledge of natural raw materials and food chemical processing techniques.
