Job Summary
Lead the Packaging Compliance Hub, ensuring regulatory monitoring, governance, documentation, and global alignment; provide global packaging engineering support across design, material selection, supplier qualification, validation, standardization, and packaging performance; manage customer packaging-related queries and change communications; support regional packaging stakeholders through packaging introduction and transition processes. This role collaborates with Packaging Engineering, Regulatory, Quality, EHS, Sustainability, Procurement, Supply Chain, Customer Care, and Commercial teams and with suppliers to drive regulatory compliance, technical decisions, and packaging governance. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Packaging, 7+ years of global industrial experience, strong packaging technical knowledge, and English fluency; Master’s degree in Engineering is an advantage. The position emphasizes leadership, cross-functional collaboration, regulatory understanding, continuous improvement, and the digitalization of packaging processes (including Packaging Passport). Location: Budapest, Hungary; Hybrid/On-site with flexible working arrangements mentioned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Packaging is required
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a global industrial business environment
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong technical knowledge related to packaging
- Solid understanding of packaging-related regulations (Quality, Sustainability, EHS, etc.)
- Experience in project and change management
- Continuous improvement mindset
