Job Summary
In the Taste & Wellbeing division, deliver solutions, technical support, and recommendations to customers as an Application Technologist I/Sr. Application Technologist I. Manage the project pipeline, participate in customer presentations, and support new trials and flavour evaluations. Prepare flavoured food products for customer presentations, run pilot-scale lab equipment for prototype production, evaluate flavours in applications, monitor flavour performance, and manage flavour data and recipe documentation. Provide training and collaborate with colleagues, while maintaining lab facilities and stock with expiry management. Requires a college degree in a related field, strong sensory skills, proficiency with pilot equipment and standard PC applications, and effective written/verbal communication.
Required Qualifications
- College/University Degree or equivalent, with major in Food Engineering, Food Science, Food Technology, Food Chemistry or Biochemistry
- Demonstrate solid sensory skills
- Proficient in operating pilot food processing equipment
- Ability to operate lab equipment
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access
