Job Fair - Temporary, Exhibition Security Officer

Temporary, part-time Exhibition Security Officer responsible for staffing special exhibition galleries with vigilance, enforcing policies, directing visitors, assisting during emergencies (evacuations, lockdowns, shelter-in-place), and providing strong customer service. Requires public-speaking ability, de-escalation skills, attention to detail, collaboration across departments, and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams. Works weekends, evenings, and holidays; museum-based onsite position at the Detroit Institute of Arts with duties including patrols, post management, and support during emergencies.
