Job Summary
Clinical Supervisor roles for in-home and in-community supervision of clinicians and interns in New Jersey. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and evaluating the Clinical and Internship Program; supervising Associate Therapists (LAC, LSW, MFT) and Interns (MSW, MA in Counseling); providing virtual/online supervision; completing required documentation and paperwork; coordinating with universities; training and development; attending case consultations and team meetings; delivering parent coaching training; and ensuring compliance with program procedures. Requires hybrid schedule with occasional travel to East Orange Youth Center; must hold LCSW or LPCC and be certified to supervise, with a master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields, plus at least 2 years of clinical supervision experience. Skills in DSM-V-based assessments, CBT/REBT/Gestalt/DBT trauma-informed approaches, treatment planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams are essential. Compensation is $90-$95 per hour for part-time engagement (5-20 hours weekly), with benefits for part-time and full-time tracks; weekend availability is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Must have LCSW or LPCC under the state of New Jersey
- Must be certified to do clinical supervision
- Must have a master’s or doctorate degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields
- Must have at least 2 years of experience providing clinical supervision
- Has experience Supervising MSW, LSW and LAC
- Has experience Supervising Master Level Interns
- Has experience in Program Management and Development
- Has experience in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Crisis and Prost-Trauma Intervention
- Has experience working with youth ages 2-21 with developmental disabilities, mental, behavioral and emotional disorders in a clinical and/or community setting
- Has experience with creating treatment planning, treatment goals setting, progress notes, and initial assessments.
- Has experience in various counseling approaches: CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response
- Knows how to use the DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
- Must be available for a minimum of 5-10 hours and maximum of 20 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 pm); Weekend flexibility is a plus
- Must have experience providing positive behavior support
- Must have prior experience working with children ages 3-20 and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) a plus
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle
- Must pass a criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting
- Must submit resume plus copies of master’s degree, with a copy of NJ Certification or License
- State Reciprocity is considered but candidate needs to be no more than 25-30 minutes commute to service areas
