Job Summary
Ensure dishes and utensils are returned to the kitchen, cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored at all times. Prepare the dish room prior to meal service, transport dishes after mealtimes, and assist with breaking down the kitchen for clean-up. Perform general sanitation of the dish room, kitchen, dining areas, steam tables, range hoods, sinks, and drains, while emptying trash. Respond to resident concerns professionally and maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests. This role supports the mission of Ivy Park at Santa Rosa, a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group, fostering a culture of authenticity, teamwork, and compassion.
Required Qualifications
- Prefer six (6) months of experience working in a kitchen or similar setting
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Must be able to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases
