Job Summary
Job Developer at VOALA Los Angeles on-site role developing individualized employment plans for program participants, conducting employability assessments and service planning, providing career counseling and job readiness training (resume, interviewing, job search techniques), arranging interviews, and building relationships with local employers to create long-term placement opportunities; coordinates with EDD Worksource Centers, Department of Rehabilitation, LA Unified School District, Veterans Administration, and other providers to ensure access to services and participant success; requires on-site work daily, HS diploma or GED, 1 year of case-management/job development experience, and bilingual English/Spanish; preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent and veteran status.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED/High School Equivalence Certificate
- 1 year of experience in case management or as a job developer
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience in employment placement and vocational counseling activities (preferred)
- US Armed Forces veteran strongly preferred (not required)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
