Job Summary
Job Developer will implement State and Federally funded employment programs to help refugee clients find jobs and work toward self-sufficiency. Responsibilities include identifying employers to create employment pathways, negotiating worksite training or accommodations, maintaining a partner database, coordinating with employers, assessing clients’ experience and skills, teaching job readiness topics, assisting with employment applications, setting up and preparing clients for interviews (including arranging transportation when needed), and monitoring client progress post-placement. Requires High School Diploma or GED minimum, proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint), Adobe Acrobat, and database programs, strong time management and organizational skills, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Physical demands include manual dexterity and occasional lifting. This is an in-person, in-location role with no relocation indicated.
