Job Summary
Conduct daily cold calling and follow-up activities to identify businesses hiring for WeCARE participants, while securing at least 14 unsubsidized placements of 20 weekly hours. Perform bi-weekly field visits to establish partnerships and design recruitment strategies including job fairs and cyber info sessions. Meet with VRS participants to assess skills and barriers, then produce weekly reports on call and visit metrics. Enter case notes into SEAMS and FedcapCARES systems, assist the retention unit with data verification, and announce job leads in workshops. Collaborate with Work Readiness Facilitators on consumer-referred interviews to ensure accurate employment outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work or related field
- Minimum of one (1) year of job development and/or placement experience in either the public or private sector
Desired Qualifications
- Sales experience with marketing and/or public relations experience preferred
- Experience developing jobs for individuals with disabilities requiring special accommodations
