Job Summary
Build relationships with local businesses to develop inclusive employment opportunities and educate employers on disability awareness, reasonable accommodations, and the ADA. Create individualized job placement plans and provide hands-on support for job searches, interview preparation, and direct on-site job coaching. Assess work sites for safety and accessibility while serving as a liaison between participants, families, and internal teams. Maintain documentation in the case management system and represent the organization at job fairs and employer partnerships. Full-time Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with occasional nights and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in human services or a related field
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing needs
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and advocate effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Valid driver's license and willingness to transport program participants
- Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
- Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional nights and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 1+ years of experience in job development, sales, or employment services
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or American Sign Language (ASL)
