Job Summary
Support students on caseload with job readiness by assisting them in planning for post-secondary education or employment. Develop, monitor, and evaluate paid and non-paid work experiences while networking with community providers to create opportunities. Guide students through job coaching, internship activities, and resume preparation, then collect paystubs from employed students. Set up career site visits and interviews, follow up with providers regarding student progress, and prepare required data and program reports. Plan and lead student workshops, maintain accurate records, and ensure students are employment-ready. Maintain professional standards in culturally responsive practices and quality assurance while managing partnerships with collaborating agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Driver's license
- BA/BS in education, human services or related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Must be capable to sit or stand in front of a computer for long-periods of time
- Able to work in open space floor plan
- Must be capable to move throughout work day and follow people served throughout community
- Work alongside co-workers within 3 feet
- Must be able to move in tight spaces
- Occasional lifting of > _25+ pounds

- Ability in working effectively with individuals with barriers to employment

- Knowledge of community support systems
