Job Summary
Develop, coordinate, and support individualized employment programs, including job development, coaching, and transportation plans for assigned participants. Serve as the primary liaison between departments, businesses, and the community while addressing day-to-day concerns and providing crisis intervention at job sites. Teach job skills, social skills, and safety; assign and monitor work tasks with quality control checks. Maintain accurate documentation, including data sheets, employment summaries, and billing paperwork. Build strong relationships with employers and community partners to ensure participant success in competitive employment settings. Collaborate with Employment Managers and the Program Director to support billing processes and smooth daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or related field
- eight years of full-time experience in vocational programs, direct care, job development, or job maintenance
- Minimum two years of experience supporting individuals with special needs in habilitation, education, or vocational programs
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to engage effectively with participants
- Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate agency vehicles
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain/maintain) with physical ability to perform CPR and Heimlich maneuver
- Ability to safely use adaptive equipment, provide close supervision, and implement behavior support plans
- Knowledge of and adherence to agency, state, and federal regulations
