Job Summary
Review and evaluate IT infrastructure and systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards. Design, plan, and build communications networks, configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN concentrators with appropriate protocols. Coordinate LAN/WAN hardware and software improvements, analyze customer requirements, and provide technical solutions to difficult problems. Perform maintenance and upgrades of network components, maintain integrity and connectivity, and ensure compliance with policies while managing system backups. Evaluate new technologies to enhance network capabilities and provide guidance to less-experienced personnel. Requires an Active Secret security clearance, Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in network administration, IAT Level II certification, and hands-on Aruba networking expertise. Onsite reporting required.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelors' Degree in a related field OR work experience in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of experience in Network Administration
- IAT Level II certification
- One of the following Networking Certifications - Brocade, Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Juniper (JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP), Aruba
- Must have hands-on experience/knowledge with Aruba networking systems
- Willing to report onsite as indicated above
