Job Summary
RemoteContract Manager role overseeing government contracts with 8+ years of related experience. Responsibilities include administering and monitoring contract performance on major government contracts, negotiating and administering agreements between company, customers, subcontractors, and vendors, reviewing solicitation terms, managing award confirmations, interpreting terms and conditions, drafting and negotiating Teaming/NDAs/MOUs/MOAs and other binding agreements, acting as primary point of contact for contractual matters with customers, preparing contracts and documentation, maintaining contractual records, supporting subcontract negotiation and management, and ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and government IP provisions. Requires strong communication, organization, NCMA membership, and familiarity with government procurement processes and contract types. Position is 100% remote with east core hours and is a 6-month contract-to-hire engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of directly related work experience
- Experience handling Government contracts and Subcontracts under FAR, DFARS, and agency supplements
- Experience in preparing, maintaining, retrieving, and communicating records or documents to meet contract-management requirements
- Experience performing contract closeout and resolving outstanding contract issues
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Membership in National Contract Management Association (NCMA)
- Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
- Knowledge of government IP/software and data rights clauses and IP marking guidelines
- Knowledge of purchase order terms and conditions and government contracting processes including sole source and competitive procurements
- Experience interfacing with all levels of project teams and management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to draft, negotiate and manage contracts, subcontracts, POs, teaming, and other binding agreements
- 6 month contract-to-hire position with 100% remote work and East core hours (9:00am–5:00pm)
- Administer and monitor contract performance on major government contracts
- Conduct negotiation and administration of agreements between company/customers/subcontractors/vendors
- Review contract solicitation terms, handling award confirmations, interpreting terms and conditions
- Provide contractual advice and support to Contract Manager/Program Manager
- Respond to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions
- Conduct proposal preparation for prime contractor RFPs
- Act as primary point of contact for contractual matters with customers for assigned contracts
- Draft and execute internal/external contractual correspondence under supervision
- Maintain official repository for all contractual documents
- Assist with subcontract negotiation and management
- Maintain relationships with customers and internal/external teams
- Knowledge of IP agreements such as Teaming, NDAs, MOUs/MOAs
- Strong understanding of government contracting processes and IP rights
