Job Summary
Technical Director for the NAVWAR Market leads multi-discipline strategy and engagement efforts to grow NAVWAR-related work. Responsible for serving as a SME across strategic, technical, and logistics disciplines, guiding business development, maintaining relationships with Government stakeholders, and ensuring alignment of client needs with S&A capabilities. Maintains a physical presence with NAVWAR stakeholders (e.g., NAVWAR & NIWC PAC), supports bid generation, writes white papers, leads technical studies, and leads company technical exchanges across organizations. Requires a Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred), 10-15 years of experience, PMP/DAWIA Level II desirables, and active Secret clearance with Top Secret desired.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- 10-15 years’ experience preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from PMI or DAWIA Level II in Program Management desired
- Active Secret Level Security Clearance required upon employment; Top Secret Clearance desired
- Excellent communication and briefing skills; Experience engaging with senior military and Government personnel (up to Flag/SES level)
- Knowledge of NAVWAR, PEO C4I & NIWC markets including NAVWAR portfolios and Program Offices
- Experience with contract management, cost management, and leading teams
- MS Office proficiency
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategies and manage strategic programs
- Ability to maintain a physical presence with NAVWAR stakeholders
- Ability to write white papers and lead technical studies
