Job Summary
Linguist Subject Matter Expert (SME) delivering senior-level technical, operational, and strategic support for SOF missions worldwide; advises leadership, supports mission planning/execution, oversees training to enhance workforce readiness, and ensures high-quality services aligned with customer requirements and contract objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Level 2+ / ILR 2 or DLPT 2/2/2 proficiency in a foreign language on the DoD Strategic Language List
- Minimum 5 years of linguist experience
- 10+ years supporting USSOCOM, Theater Special Operations Commands, or related SOF missions
- Experience in SOF operations, global mission support, logistics, intelligence, communications, or training
- Experience developing, managing, or overseeing training programs
- Ability to work in austere, high-tempo, and multinational environments
- Ability to prepare executive-level briefings and technical documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
